OTOSCOPY

Otoscopy gives the veterinarian the ability to view the inside of the ear for diseases of the ear or any problems that may be occurring.  This scope gives a magnified view of the ear canal and tympanic membrane area.  It can be used in the exam room, without sedation, to show pet owners some of the changes in the ear that might need medical attention.

This type of scoping is also used when your pet is under anesthesia to clean ears, take biopsies, or remove  a foreign body.  Video monitor images can be captured on photographic prints or video movies to share with pet owners for documentation of ear disease or changes occurring.
